Honeymooners

Our honeymoon was a dream. Jamaica was unreal! We stayed at the sandals resort on Montego Bay. When I say stayed, I literally mean stayed. We never left the resort, we were perfectly content with everything we had there:

Pools, hot tubs, yummiest breakfast buffets, lots of yummy restaurants to choose from, snorkeling, kyaking, food at any time of the day (came in handy when we'd get a jamaican patty craving at 3 am. GROSS), lots and lots of entertainment (mostly all the drunks), cabanas, a beautiful island, the love of my life and the beach. Notice food was the focus, whats wrong with me?! Anyway, it was absolutely beautiful and the best weather we could ever ask for. I can't wait to go back!

We're doing good

Today is our 3 month anniversary and I've probably told Ty five hundred times already today. Which is why he most likely felt guilted into this lovely afternoon surprise.

Baby Paityn...

This is beautiful baby Paityn Ashley Forbes! She is so so tiny and the cutest little thing ever. Congrats Col and Ash, we love our new "niece!"

The Wedding

Everything about our wedding day was perfect. Absolutely perfect. The temple was incredible! My grandpa is a sealer in the St. Louis temple and got permission to seal us here, it was so neat! The weather that day was insanely FREEZING! 6 degrees you guys! Plus the most bitter cold wind i've ever felt. And our photographer and videographer insisted on taking pictures for 2 hours and I thought I was going to lose my hands and feet. Now that we have our video and pictures back it was well worth it, but I would not recommend it. The reception turned out better than I ever imagined it would be. My mom is so very talented! Thank you mom and all the other family and friends who helped put it all together and putting up with my OCD.

It was a blast! A short line, cutting the cake, daddy-daughter/mother-son dances, our dance, and probably my favorite part of the whole thing was Ty's surprise dance. Keep in mind I had no clue whatsoever about this little dance. He and his sisters and friends had been practicing for months, and were able to keep it a secret! I still can't believe I didn't know about it because I usually ruin every surprise. It was a total hit and the cutest dance ever. Gotta love JB! The night ended with a killer dance party and then we were off! The whole day was simply amazing and I wish I could re-live it all the time. Thanks to Hailey Haugen for the spectacular video and Jacque Lynn for our amazing photos!

Yay we have a MARRIED blog now, and I'm soooooo excited! We were married January 11th, 2011. 1/11/11. Best day of my life! I love being married. I love my hot husband. I love my family and my in laws. I love living it the Quarry Bend. I love our new ward. I love our friends. I love my job. I love our new life together. We are so so blessed, things couldn't be better!!
